AACTA nominees speaking at AFTRS

Saturday 14th January, 1.00pm – 2.30pm at AFTRS Sydney. Admission FREE. Production designers Melinda Doring- Eye of the Storm, Steven Jones-Evans APDG – The Hunter and costume designer Terry Ryan- Eye of the Storm will talk about their experiences designing some of the  films that have been nominated for Awards in this year’s production design and costume design categories. Melinda Doring extensive credits include production design on The Slap, Home Song Stories, Somersault and Oranges and Sunshine. Steven Jones-Evans long list of credits includes Burning Man, The Tree, Oyster Farmer, Ned Kelly and Two Hands. The costume designer Terry Ryan has many credits in both film and TV including: King Kong, Tomorrow When the War Began, Farscape, My Brother Jack and Chopper. It promises to be a very interesting and informative discussion and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
