2012 AWARDS
The APDG Awards 2012 closed to further entries on the 17th July 2012.
The APDG successfully launched our inaugural awards last year. Now its time to focus on the 2012 event. The venue this year is the magnificent Doltone House, Darling Island Wharf.
Oscar winning animator, Adam Elliot, will MC the event. Adam is an eloquent and very funny presenter and, being an animator and designer, has a strong affinity with the APDG community, he’s the perfect man for the job.
The importance of the APDG awards is not only to recognising the achievement of great design by our colleagues but to showcase this design to the wider film, theatre, TV and interactive industries and to the world.
Now is the time for members and non-members alike to consider entering the awards. It’s free, but entrants need to be an APDG member to be in the running for an award.
This year each award category has a separate entry form and different entry package requirements. Please download and print both pages of the entry form to make sure your entry package contains all that is necessary.
This year not only APDG members but interested parties worldwide are invited to nominate a person or persons who have made a significant contribution Australian Stage and Screen design for the Cameron Creswell APDG Award for Outstanding Contribution to Design. The list of nominees will be voted upon by the APDG steering committee and the winner announced at the Awards ceremony in October 2012.
